Meat is fine but Grumpy service especially the Son who has no patience if you change you mind and that's the point of a local shop it should be happy and helpful.

I'm with Ionkontrol! I've been using Jennings for several years and I've never been disappointed. With their cheaper meat they can compete on price with the supermarkets (although Jennings' meat is invariably superior) but if you want to splash out on the organic, free range, well educated, softly spoken meat, you are in for a real treat. We bought our Christmas roast from Jennings last year and it was sublime. It felt rather nostalgic to wait in the queue in the cold outside the butcher on Christmas Eve too!
