Surbiton housewife is Beatles' 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds'

Lucy O'Donnell confirms that she was the inspiration for one of Sgt. Pepper's most famous songs.

In an interview with the BBC she explained that she went to school with John Lennon's son Julian.

She said, 'Julian had painted a picture, and on that particular day his father turned up with the chauffeur to pick him up from school.' Julian later explained to his father that the picture was of Lucy, in the sky, with diamonds.
