Celebrate the ancient tradition of Sardine fishing in the River Thames in Surbiton.

Since Sardines were re-introduced to the river in 2005, local people have once again decided to celebrate this magical food with a festival. Bands and entertainment all day, delicious fresh food and drink stalls, arts and crafts, a procession to the river to catch the haul and of course, the famous Sardine BBQ.
