Is there any such thing as a genuine pirate treasure map? Historian Nick Pelling set out on a quest to find out, and on Sunday 15th September he will be bringing what he found to the cornerHOUSE's big screen. Armchair treasure hunters and historical detectives of all ages should sail along to Surbiton to see the evidence and decide for themselves...

The talk runs from 7.30pm to 9.15pm (doors open at 7pm), with a 15-minute interval at 8.15pm.
