Art With A Difference, a joint exhibition by local artists Meta Rocard and Roger Fowler, takes place at the cornerHOUSE on Sunday, January 5 until Sunday, February 2.

All are welcome to come and view the paintings and images on show at a gala evening at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton, on Tuesday, January 14, from 7-9pm, and to hear the artists talk about their work.

Meta's exhibits, under the title Digital Fantasies, are a colourful collection of computerised images.
Art is created on computer from a variety of sources – enhanced photographs – scanned drawings and paintings retouched – some imaginatively integrated to form abstract designs.

The images are mounted on foam-backed board. Prices range from £5 to £100 depending on the size of the print.

Co-exhibitor Roger Fowler is showing a selection of paintings of wildlife in pastels, pencil, pen and ink and watercolour.
Wildlife in Pastels and Other Media is inspired by Roger's love of wildlife.

This will be Roger's first show. Some of his paintings, which are in mixed media, are mounted, while others are framed. He is open to offers for his work.
