Kingston Junior Drama Company present Talking with Angels by Neil Duffield.
Talking with Angels is an original and highly imaginative retelling of the complex story of Joan of Arc, the extraordinary teenager who, in under a year, propelled herself from unknown shepherd girl to French national heroine. This dramatisation of one of the most astounding stories in history will be an unmissable event.
Neil Duffield has worked as a full-time professional playwright for over thirty years and has written more than sixty plays and adaptations which have been staged extensively in theatres throughout Britain and abroad. In 2006 his play ’The Lost Warrior’ won the Arts Council England Children’s Award ‘for work which displays excellence, inspiration and innovation in children’s theatre.’
Kingston Junior Drama Company celebrates their tenth anniversary year in 2017. Talking with Angels is the first of a number of events to showcase the work of this talented young company.
