Back of a Length are Mark Worledge and John Mannel. Together they play traditional, contemporary and original songs and tunes. Mark writes beautiful, well-crafted songs and is an excellent guitarist.

John plays guitar, flute and harmonica – not all the same time! Expect a mixture of rousing choruses, thoughtful self-penned songs and stirring tunes, with a bit of humour along the way.

Folk@thecornerHOUSE is a monthly series of concerts showcasing the best in folk music. The aim is to present a wide variety of performers in the wonderful intimate setting of The Corner House. Each evening will have a main guest with a supporting act to start. There are too few venues in Surrey providing outlets for the dazzling wealth of talent available on the folk scene and this venture will hopefully go a long way towards filling that void.
