There will be thrills and chills aplenty, when Upstage Theatre Company bring their latest show to the cornerHOUSE in October.
The Curse of the Werewolf by Tim Kelly, finds the cast in a remote and spooky castle on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. The castle, the ancestral home of Algernon Snipes, is populated by his mysterious and scary relatives. And even more scary is the knowledge that it is cursed with a werewolf prowling its corridors and battlements. As one, by one, its inhabitants meet a sticky end, the audience is left wondering if anyone is safe, not least the down-at-heel entertainer Buzz Halliburton who has been summoned to Gargoyle House, only to find that he is heir to the Snipes fortune. But will Buzz live to tell the tale? Tickets for the show which runs at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton, from Wednesday, October 13 to Saturday, October 16 at 8pm are £8 (£6 concs). To book, phone Peter Cooke on 020 8390 0334 or 07962 843566
