Chris will be spinning his chilled & eclectic 'Balearic Beats' at Surbiton's Rubicon Bar on Saturday 11th July from 8pm onwards.

Balearic beat is the eclectic style of DJing pioneered in Ibiza in the late 1980’s by Alfredo, the resident DJ at the Amnesia club. The music at Amnesia didn't need to be fast to be danceable (most Balearic classics hover around 110bpm). Familiar songs were put into a fresh context meaning they shed whatever unfashionable associations they may have had.
