Just wondering if anyone has been to the Black Lion for food yet! i know it as a lively local little pub (used to be a bit grim in an endeering way before the smoking ban's refurbishment!) and it was infamously the only pub in surbiton that DIDN'T do food for YEARS - but they're advertising food and sunday lunches and i had sunday lunch last sunday and it was BRILLIANT - enormous plate of good, home-cooked food, nothing looked like it came out of a packet, and it was delicious.
