The Kingston Junior Drama Company will be performing two short comedies both written by David Lawson Lean.

The Fairyland Trials was written in 2004 and has been widely performed. The play puts several Fairy Tale characters in the dock to answer for their crimes. This humorous piece simultaneously comments on the experience of children at the hands of the authorities.

Birthday Twins Forever is a new teen comedy about parties and broken friendships and was written especially for the cast.

Performance time 7.30 pm

The two short plays will be performed without an interval.

Reginald D Hunter - Outside the Box

Jan '70
Thu 1st

Reg is back (and we don’t mean Elton John!)

Reginald D. Hunter is that rare combination, an American who has retained his stunning cool and gets his superb stage presence from a natural, easy self confidence, but has an intensely likeable, respectful side which is impossible to ignore either on stage or in person. From the start, Reg was the sort of natural storyteller that audiences would happily listen to for hours, he has now combined this with quality laughs which will stand up to any gag merchant.
