My walk along the river was interrupted this week by hoards of gulls taking all the food from the swans and ducks. I have never seen these gulls before, they seem quite spiteful, much as I love all animals, and are taking away the joy of my grandchildren feeding other wildlife. How long have they been along Kingston Riverside? I also saw three of them trying to peck a cormorant as he came up from feeding underwater although he managed to get away.
I cannot believe the amount of litter in Surbiton Rec today. Mainly from fireworks. I usually pick it up on my walk through and put it in the bin but forgot my plastic glove today! Does anyone else collect the litter as I do? What an eyesore
