Lyrical Dance for Teenagers

A dance class for young people aged 13-18 who want to have fun, dance to their favourite songs and make new friends. Lyrical Dance uses elements of ballet, jazz and contemporary to create a class that is energetic and concentrates on telling a story through dance. If you have no experience or dance a lot this class will still be accessible for you.

Please note that the 26th September, 24th October and 28th November there will be NO CLASSES.

£5 per class (pay at class)

Parallel Lies

Friendship comes under the spotlight in Parallel Lies, a double bill which comes to the cornerHOUSE in October.

In one play, Swan Songs, the tensions between two ageing singers surface over their careers and ambitions. Hubris, white lies, and mistaken assumptions lead to comic and poignant moments. In the other, The Visit, a volunteer befriender gets more than she bargained for when she offers the hand of friendship to another. Could it be that the befriender needs companionship more than her client?
