African Vision Malawi, a local based charity (formerly known as The Landirani Trust) will celebrate their 10th anniversary of working in Malawi. They support a rural area of approx.45,000 people including 3000 orphan & vulnerable people.

Why did they start the charity and what are the projects they are running to support the needs? The projects focus on Education, Water & Sanitation, Health & Sustainable Agriculture.They are building a Training Village for the people who need it most.

Panda-monium in Kingston as people gear up for Earth Hour event

Giant pandas invaded Kingston at the weekend to highlight the upcoming Earth Hour event- the world’s biggest call to action to protect the planet.

The panda flash mob handed out leaflets explaining the event that sees people in 162 countries turning off their lights for one hour between 8.30 and 9.30pm on Saturday, March 28.
