Tesco has officially thrown in the towel in its decade-long battle to build a supermarket on the old Toby Jug site in Tolworth.

Kingston Council asks for help finding owner of sick dog

A sick dog was found alone in the street, and died after being taken to a vet.

Kingston Council has appealed for help finding the owner after the dog was found by itself in Tolworth. The young dog was found by a passer-by on Saturday.

Anyone with information on the dog or its owner can call council dog warden Stewart Toop on 020 8547 5406.

Kingston Council scraps building plans for Surbiton schools in expansion u-turn

Plans to expand Maple Infants’ and St Andrew’s and St Mark’s Junior schools in Surbiton have been scrapped after Kingston Council bowed to pressure from campaigners.
