I've just seen a red kite (the bird that is) above Southborough School playing fields and drifting over my garden - it's the first time I've seen one around here - how about anyone else?

Two cars rescued from metre-high flood waters in Kingston

Two drivers were rescued from metre-high flood waters in the early hours of this morning.

Their cars became trapped in the underpass in Kingston’s one-way system and had to be towed out by traffic police. Police were called just after midnight. Thames Water has been hauled in to investigate the flooding. Roadworks were suspended while traffic was delayed. Temporary traffic lights in Surbiton Road and Penrhyn Road, along with Ewell Road, were not operated. Lane restrictions were not enforced in Tolworth Broadway for the same period.

Young new and on Ditton road

Hi

I'm Robyn and hopefully my boyfriend and I will be loving to Ditton road before the year is out.
We are both in our mid 20's. I know from flat hunting that Ditton road is a nice street but I was wondering if people who know more/live on it could tell me more about it. Anything would be appreciated.
I'm looking forward to meeting new people around my age when I move :-)
