What a great shame the old red lion pub has closed down. I lived in red lion road for many years also worked in the pub many times with Maurice the owner and George and Mary bar managers.What a lovely pub it was had my 18th birthday in there even though been drinking in there with my parents fred and kathy wilson for a few years before !!!! Couldent do it now. Lets hope another pub group opens up in tolworth before it dies a death. I live in bournemouth now, loads of pubs. I feel sorry for the loss of a pub to residents of red lion road and tolworth. Charlie wilson
