Just to keep this old thread up to date: Had Brian round to our flat in Lovelace Gardens to inspect the electrics and to replace the old fuse box with a CU. He did a great job, fairly priced and was very helpful. Thanks Brian.

everybody reading this: I went to the Yellow Pages to get a plumber and was RIPPED OFF, it was so bad the bloke who came to our house to unblock our sink was featured on WATCHDOG

As with anon, anon, anon, anon and the others, I also used Brian recently. He was simply excellent. He was able to work around my schedule, sent me a reminder prior to our appointment and turned up on time. Did an excellent job, cleared up and provided relevant documentation all at a good price. I recommend Brian without reservation.
We also asked Brian to look at our electrics (safety inspection and to ascertain faults) on the strength of the recommendations on here. He did a great job and was extremely impressive and professional. He went above and beyond to reassure us that the circuits were safe and provided us with the necessary certification. We would gladly use him again and would definitely recommend him to others. His hourly rate was more than competitive, considering the premiums many tradesmen charge when working in the area. Fantastic service.
Followed this recommendation & more than happy with the results. Brian is an excellent guy & a superb electrician. Highly recommended, took the time to do everything to a high standard. He even put all the unsightly cables under the carpet, not like all the other electricians that I contacted who wanted to put then on top of the skirting board all through the house. Great Job at a Good Price!
