In abundance in Surbiton yesterday. Along Brighton Road past Maya, blue lights everywhere whizzing along. What was going on ? About every fifteen minutes going both ways !

Sorry should have said, just after lunch, going on for a couple of hours.
I don't like to criticise the police because the do a great job, but I often think that if even 10% of the incidents they attend with lights and sirens blazing were true emergencies then Kingston/Surbiton would be the crime capital of the world.
Instead, it actually seems quite a low-crime area by London standards.
Try living behind Surbiton station - its constant police cars and blue lights.
