Recycling christmas cards

Ok well the tree is down and ready for the recycling bin. All the decorations have gone and the room looks very bare! But where can I recycle my Christmas cards? Are there any shops in Surbiton, otherwise can I take them to a local supermarket ?

Why don't you reecycle them in a council provided recycling container - it's what you (partially) pay council tax for.

Excellent idea,I tend to paste over the writing with plain foolscap and resend,no one ever remembers what cards they sent to you, although with the increases scheduled for postal charges i may have to reconsider and put them in the recycling jobby, can they go in the cardboard green box or will that incur a snotty note from the eco warriors on the council?

Yes, just put them in the green plastic box.
