Three five-week-old cats were brought into the Goddard Veterinary Practice in Kingston by a man who heard the sound of their desperate meows in a black bin bag in Surbiton, on Tuesday, September 18.
Despite the best efforts of the vet practice to save the adorable kittens one of the felines had to be put down leaving behind his brother and sister. Vets and nurses at the practice in Park Road have named the tabby and white cat Oliver and his tortoiseshell and white sister Bonnie.
Vet at the practice, Heather Covey, urged people having difficulty caring for their pets to contact rescue charities or their vet rather than abandoning them. Anyone interested in offering a home to one of the kittens should contact the practice on 0208 546 3296.
