A central London circus that left visitors knee-deep in feathers has managed to leave its mark in Kingston.
Nearly two tonnes of feathers were dropped in a special performance spectacle in Piccadilly Circus yesterday. But this morning a number of people tweeted about feathers somehow arriving in Norbiton and Surbiton.
An estimated 50,000 spectators watched the feather-full circus presented by mayor Boris Johnson yesterday evening. The show was part of the London 2012 Festival and included performances from 247 artists of 17 different nationalities. There were even Twitter reports of feathers being found in Elephant and Castle, Bexleyheath and Potters Bar.
