A Surbiton woman who survived breast cancer has urged residents to give up the booze as part of Cancer Research's Dryathlon.
Justine Charnley, 45, had cancer diagnosed after she brushed popcorn crumbs off her chest and discovered a lump.
The part-time estate agent, of Savery Drive, said after radiotherapy she wanted to give something back to the charity. Last year's effort saw a total of £704,046 raised by Londoners who swore off the booze for a month - and there is still time to register for this year's campaign. For more information, visit dryathlon.org and sign up before Sunday, January 11.
