An assistance puppy sponsored by a Surbiton school for £14,000 has returned to meet pupils eight months on.
Sandy the 'Woofability' dog first visited Shrewsbury House School in Ditton Road in July after the school donated £14,000 to train the golden retriever pup to work with someone who is mobility impaired.
Woofability, an organisation dedicated to training assistance dogs, teaches canines to do various tasks, such as emptying the washing machine, turning on lights, passing a ringing phone, collecting the post and even helping remove someone's socks.
The students at Shrewsbury House have been enjoying updates about Sandy over the past eight months, and welcomed the retriever back to the school last month for a reunion.
