Final preparations are underway for the return of the Surbiton Festival, with a bigger roster than ever of stalls and events – and tickets are running out fast.
Move quickly for a spot at the rotating stand-up comedy event and a musical variety concert put on by the Rotary Club at St Mark’s Church. Some spaces remain for a charity masked ball at Holiday Inn, while there is room for everyone at the grand parade on the festival’s final day.
Arts and crafts, foods from around the world, and more, will be on offer. Surbiton town centre will be buzzing from 10am to 6pm, as the festival comes of age on its 21st birthday. Families can head down to St Andrew’s Square on Saturday, September 28, to enjoy a bouncy castle, a Punch and Judy show, and more. In Claremont Gardens, where the grand parade will finish, there will be charity stalls, refreshments, and activities like mini tennis. The week-long festival will kick off next Saturday at the farmers' market in Maple Road.
