An exhibition of photographs taken entirely by disabled people will be displayed in Tolworth.
The Walks in the Richmond Area event will be showcasing work from members of the Active Environment Group, a branch of the Environment Trust. The display will include about 60 photographs from Kew Gardens, the Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park, London Wetlands, Bushy Park and Ham Riverside.
They will be displayed at the Corner House theatre, in Douglas Road. Residents can attend the gala night this Saturday, April 13, from 5pm to 7pm, and will be able to speak to the photographers about their work and inspiration.
The Active Environment Group aims to improve access to the local landscape for disabled people. Though based in Richmond, residents from Kingston are welcome. Anyone who wishes to join can contact Nicky on 020 8891 5455.
