See what's on as Christmas comes early to Surbiton

Christmas will come early to Surbiton this year.

Prepare for farm animals in a live Nativity, choir performances, a market, and of course a procession led by Father Christmas. The town will light up as Father Christmas travels down Victoria Road in his sleigh, and heads for the market stalls in Brighton Road.

Paul Pickhaver, from Surbiton Community Church, came up with the idea for the Nativity farm. The new light decorations and other attractions will be funded from a pot approved by Surbiton councillors in October. Take the family along from 3pm on Thursday, November 28.

What's on:

  • 3pm to 5.30pm: Nativity farm, face painting, carol singing, refreshments
  • 4.30pm: Angels in the sky
  • 4.45pm: Father Christmas
  • 5.15pm: Christmas tree lights
  • 5.30pm: Procession sets off
  • 5.30pm to 8.30pm: Christmas market, live music, and raffle in Brighton Road/Cottage Grove
  • Live music:

  • 5.45pm to 6pm: Sue Rinaldi & Band
