Thames Concerts kick off series of classical concerts in Surbiton church

Few things in life come together like smooth cake mixture to create something more luxurious than what you started with.

Thames Concerts series have found their perfect recipe by throwing together their best ingredients to come up with a night that will be rich, tasteful and satisfying to kick things off for their medley of concerts. Audiences are invited to join flautist Matthew Featherstone and pianist Philip Shannon for a night of masterful music at the beautiful St Andrew’s Church in Surbiton as the series opener for great classical shows to come.

That magic will consist of music by the likes of Bach, Faure, Poulenc, Ravel and Debussy to treat your ears. Plus there will be no need for awkward introductions as the dynamic duo have enjoyed playing together several times over the past two years.

Thames Concerts will be hosting various shows by world-class musicians until mid-February 2014. Season tickets are available to gain admission to all the concerts in the series and audience members are reminded to bring e-mail confirmation of their tickets to the event.
