A hairdresser has cut, coloured and styled hair for 60 hours non-stop in a bid to raise money for charity.
Hairdresser Mary-Ann Sorci, 60, did not sleep a wink as she whizzed through 90 customers who paid to get their barnets spiced up for the charity venture. The Andreas salon in Raeburn Avenue, Tolworth, hosted the hairathon, which started at 9am on Monday, May 14 and ended at 9pm on Wednesday, May 16.
Mrs Sorci, who has been a hairdresser for 40 years, admitted the secret to staying awake for the three-day stint was chatting away to her many customers and drinking lots of cups of coffee. All proceeds go towards the Help for Heros and Multiple Sclerosis charities.
