Residents enjoyed a bouncy castle, Tai Chi, and a man in the stocks as part of a day of fun dedicated to Councillor Frances Moseley.
Mrs Molesey, who represented Berrylands ward on Kingston Council, died in December after a long battle with cancer. The Alpha Road Fun Day featured stalls from as far as Teddington, with games such as ‘guess the sweets’ and ‘splat the rat’, on Alpha Road on Saturday.
Aileen Hill-Smith, resident of Alpha Road, was selling daffodils in memory of Frances Moseley. Half of the proceeds will go to her memorial, and half to Marie Curie.
