Surbiton Hill Road
A group of “newbie cycle enthusiasts” will ride from London to Amsterdam in memory of a Surbiton teacher who died aged 25.
Sam King, 29, of Grange Close, West Molesey, and Steve Webb, of Lower Ham Road, Kingston, are two of four friends hoping on their bicycles on Sunday, August 4, to ride more than 350 miles for Lymphoma Association. The group will be cycling in memory of Nick Penn, who died three years ago after a four year fight with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The Lymphoma Association was the chosen charity of Mr Penn, who had previously worked for Hollyfield School.
Mr King hopes to raise £5,000 and will also be cycling with Steve Webb, 28, of Lower Ham Road, Kingston, Sam Bignell, 28, of David Twigg Close and Neil Morecraft, 42, from Ashford.
