A man is due to appear in court today accused of crashing a stolen car in Surbiton and running away.
Milad Khalili, 25, has denied stealing a Mercedes A160, driving it without a license and having no third party insurance. He has also been charged with failing to stop after an accident, hitting a brick wall outside 23 St James Road, damaging a parked gold Vauxhall Corsa. But he has admitted failing to attend a follow up assessment following a test for the presence of a class A drug at Kingston Wellbeing Service in Surbiton Health Centre five days after the crash.
The man, from Haylett Gardens, Anglesea Road, is due to appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court today.
