The Trycyclingathon, consisting of three routes suiting different levels of fitness, will take place on September 16, starting and finishing at Claremont Gardens, Surbiton.
Riders are encouraged to cycle vintage, custom or classic bikes and wear their finest Victorian, Edwardian or Steampunk period cycling garb. Organiser Robin Hutchinson of the Community Brain said: “This find shows how important cycling has been in the area and we hope that people will look out their bikes and join in this fantastic event.
All proceeded from the day will go to charities including children’s learning difficulties charity Yorda and the Kingston Carers Network. To book your place and for more information visit http://seethingwells.org/The_Seething_Trycyclingathon.html.
