Surbiton based Absolute Radio's subsiduary Absolute Radio Norfolk has announced it will be bidding for a new East Anglian radio licence.
Though they failed to win the North Norfolk licence as part of the go-fm consortium, rival bidders are thought to include Norwich Radio Group, and a consortium including Crown 107.3 FM and Tindle Radio Holdings.
It's understood that Ofcom, the airwaves regulator, will begin advertising the FM radio licence in 2004.
