S.J. Parris, internationally-renowned author of ‘Prophecy’, the Capital’s chosen book for Cityread London, is set to talk at the newly-transformed Surbiton Library in April.
Cityread London is the Capital’s biggest reading celebration. The month-long project aims to engage London’s residents, workers and visitors with reading for pleasure, focused around the shared reading experience of a single book. Kingston is taking part in the programme, with seven special events in libraries across the borough, including storytelling for adults, Tudor games, book groups and even a visit from S.J. Parris herself.
Free copies of the book will be available in libraries from 1 April, while stocks last.
