Two men arrested and another in hospital following Tolworth assault

Police were called just after 5pm on Sunday to reports of an assault in Princes Avenue.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man in his 30s suffering from facial injuries. He was taken to a west London hospital with non life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

Officers carried out enquiries and a man was arrested at about 6pm on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He was taken to a west London police station where he remains in custody. A second man was arrested at about 4am on Monday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He was taken to a west London police station where he remains in custody.

Enquiries continue. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD5054/17MAR or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
