An appalling service. I took my car there to be MoT'd and they told me it needed new tyres. Turns out it didn't. They basically defrauded me of £300. Avoid at all costs.
I'm really sad to post this as I've used KwikFit for the last 5 years for my MOT & Servicing and also car repairs and never had a problem until I encountered ADAM who is quite possibly the rudest, most unhelpful and arrogant mechanic I've ever spoken to. I'm not going to bother with the ins and outs of what was said but basically I ended up cancelling my MOT and Full Service (£185 loss to them) and going somewhere else because I just couldn't give my business to a company that employs such a rude and unhelpful individual. As I said, it's a shame as all the other mechanics I have dealt with there are friendly and helpful. One bad apple and your customer services goes up in flames.
Fitted directional tyres incorrectly, rendering the car unstable. They are aggressive rude bunch of thugs. No apology, no restitution. Rip off merchants. Dont even think of going there.
The poorest service I ever had and in a brand new car, they said I needed new tires. Not coming back - ever. Avoid like the plague

BEWARE these people. I took my car in - had a slight sqeaking noise from front axle - they said er yeah needs new brakes all round. Took it to Maypole for MOT - they said - brakes are excellent. The noise just went away after a few miles. Then I spoke to an ex-Kwik Fit manager and for legal sensibilities I ll not repeat their practices as he described them - but I think you can get the picture...caveat emptor really applies
