fantastic atmosphere - stayed for a week on work trip, friendly staff, food was good, all round good value for money

If you think the Maypole is the worst pub you have ever been in you obviously haven't tried the Royal Oak just down the road... infinitely worse.

Had a badly needed refurb this year, and all the better for it. Nice local boozer with outside area.
