Very disappointing, would not recommend.

I booked a cab with Surbiton cars from Wimbledon to Surbiton at midnight on Friday. The car was booked 4 days in advance and confirmed that afternoon. I was standing out in the cold and snow at 23.55 waiting so as not to miss the car. I phoned at 00:05 to find out where they were - was told the car was within 10 minutes. I phoned again at 00:20 and was told the car was 2 minutes away. I phoned again at 00:30 and was told to hang up as the driver was there and was trying to call me.

I had to decide whether to wait indefinately for the car that I was repeatly told would be there by now or to make a mad dash for the last train. The driver called me at 00:45 to say he'd arrived - I was on the last train home.

I was really disappointed that they would leave a woman out in the cold for that long; and that they repeatedly gave me misleading information. If they'd said the car was 40 minutes away I could have gone back to the warm or decided to get a train without having to run for the last service.

I won't use Surbiton cars again.
