Im 21 years old who has been suffering in silence for many years with my "illness" i have only just started seekin help and i am only at the very begining. When i hear rumours about tolworth hospital may be closing i couldnt believe it. This is a place where people get better, goverments wouldnt knock down a hospital so why tolworth? Is it because people with mental illnesses cant show it on the outside? Mental health is so important and a place like this helps people get better. What about the effects it could have on patients? Always being told they are not alone and will always have someone yet that place they can maybe only seek comftability in is getting burnt down? We should be proud to say we have one of the best services in tolworth, its something to celebrate not get rid of.
