With the advent of locally farmed freshwater sardines, this is our chance to remember when Seething was famous for sardines and held its annual festival to celebrate the first catch of the season.

See the fish landed, see them led on the ancient cart followed by the Sardine procession and then share in the great Seething Freshwater Sardine Barbecue at St Andrew’s Square.
