The Kingston Orpheus Choir, (Kingston's longest established choir), together with a superb orchestra present Handel's rousing 'Israel in Egypt'.
Conducted by local man David Condry, the piece is sure to delight.

Kingston Orpheus Choir present one of George Frederick Handel’s most thrilling and impressive works. Written in 1738 and premiered in London’s Haymarket Theatre, this oratorio shows Handel at his most inventive and dramatic, especially in his vivid and stunning portrayal of the ten plagues of Egypt. We are delighted to be joined by one of the country’s top young organists and rising star, Daniel Justin, who will play two of Handel’s organ concertos in this concert, as Handel did in his own performances of his oratorios.
