Noises Off, the hilarious play by Michael Frayn, comes to the cornerHOUSE in June.
Staged by The Green Theatre Company, the show is directed by Maria Clinton who has previously brought The Hound of the Baskervilles to the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton. She also recently directed The God of Carnage at the Arthur Cotterell Theatre in Kingston.
Often lauded as "the funniest farce ever written", Noises Off depicts the onstage and backstage antics of a fifth-rate acting troupe touring in a show called Nothing On - a dire sex farce.
Mrs Clinton, who lives in Surbiton, said: "Noises Off is - in my opinion - one of the funniest farces out there, and I have a very talented cast who will really bring the play to life! It is so much fun, we can’t wait to get in front of an audience who we all hope will enjoy watching it as much as we're enjoying rehearsing it!
"If you want to laugh your trousers off, come to the cornerHOUSE on Thursday, June 13 to Saturday, June 15 at 7.45pm."
As there is swearing and sexual innuendo in the show, it is advised that the play is not suitable for under 15s.
Tickets are £8 (£6 concessions). To book phone 07587 196378, email bartongreentheatre@hotmail.com or visit www.greentheatre.com
