Now in its seventh year Surbiton Ski Sunday has seen hundreds ski down the hill and attempt to set a world record over the suburban course.

The current World Record is held by international competitor Jesper Hedlend from Sweden with a time of 9.97 seconds.

The concept is simple, it just reverses the science so instead of skiing on ice or snow you put the ice on your feet so you can ski on anything.
