Coombe Conduit, a Grade II* Listed Building, was part of the drinking water supply system for Hampton Court Palace from Tudor times until 1876.

The water was piped from springs on Coombe Hill. The talk will consider water supply history, the buildings of Coombe Conduit and whether the waterworks were first built by Cardinal Wolsey or Henry VIII.

Tickets must be booked in advance. Booking and further information is available by emailing Paul (paulhowardlang1011@gmail.com). The talk is presented by the Surbiton and District Historical
Society. Non-members are asked to contribute £2 when they attend events.
