As a semi-regular of Jim's open mike nights who will always remember it as the Bun Shop, I'm sad to say that Brave New World was closed last night, and there's now a notice in the window saying that the premises is no longer licensed to sell alcohol. No idea what's happened, it'd be a shame to lose one of the best venues for live music in Surbiton.
