Surbiton Ski Sunday is open for anyone to watch or if you want to take part you can email for instructions and a sponsorship form.

The course will be sited on Surbiton Parade to the side of St Mark’s Hill and will provide a challenge for suburban skiers young and old.

It will be fun to watch and we will be raising money for the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice at the same time - so come along and enjoy the fun. If you want to take part contact us at suburbanskiing@yahoo.com

If you want to join in but can’t make it to Surbiton you can find a guide on how to make your own ‘suburban skis’ and a layout of the official suburban skiing course so you can create your own Suburban Skiing event where you live. All we ask is that you keep in touch and record your efforts so that Suburban Skiing can take its rightful place at the winter Olympics.

So don’t worry if you can’t make it because it’s not just in Surbiton that Suburban Skiing can take place. This revolutionary new method of transport has pulled the rug from under those snob filled après ski resorts that pride themselves on dress code rather than challenge and has opened every high street, cul de sac and back road up as potential suburban ski slopes.
