The RNLI Rally takes place along Queen’s Promenade has become part of the Surbiton Festival’s annual programme. This two-day event is very popular with over 60 boats in attendance and a whole host of activities taking place alongside Surbiton's beautiful stretch of the River Thames.

I have been informed by a Kingston councillor that the meeting is just a scheduled management meeting and is not intended as a forum for residents to attend. A recommendation will be put forward at this meeting that a public event is organised.
