In the 1929 play that inspired Alfred Hitchcock to make his classic crime thriller, two Oxford undergraduates murder a fellow student for the mere sake of adventure, danger, and the "fun of the thing". They hide the body in a chest and invite a small circle of the victim's friends and family to a party, the chest acting as the buffet's centrepiece. But one of their guests becomes suspicious…
