Kingston Regatta and River Festival to draw crowds this weekend

Activities on the river will continue to be in full swing next weekend with the dragon boat races organised by Kingston Rotary Club.

If you’ve been moved by the coverage the WW1 centenary and centenary events; why not consider signing up for The Royal Star and Garter Homes’ Battlefield Trek.

We have just two places left, on what promises to be an incredibly poignant event. The three-day sponsored trek takes place in September 2014, walking through Northern France and Belgium. It is a physical challenge and also provides participants with a unique perspective of prominent battle-sites of the Ypres Salient, often tracing the line of the Western Front itself.
